Foreign Bodies
My bodies are excluded from their environments, personalities or any background. They turn into a bare mass, floating or powerlessly lying on a pedestal. Each body of an individual gets alienated via social structures and superior forces.Being part of a culture or any other social construct helps to shape one¥s identity as much as it means loosing an individual identity in the first place.
This series consists of (mostly) life-sized multicolored woodcuts.
